History of the Orchestra It was founded in 1976 by the physicist Dr. Dieter Koehnlein. With its engaged playing it soonly got an enthusiastic audience.
A lot of dics with works ofcomposers as Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms,Mendelssohn, Dvorak, Tschaikowsky, Richard Strauss, Bartok, Strawinsky, Brittenand Schostakowitsch demonstrate the scale of repertoire.
The Orchestra was the winner of all the sixnational competitions, organized by the German- Music -Council, since 1985.
